Didn’t head out to Chapter to watch lovely Rose because it was in Chapter and Chapter is FAR AWAY. However, she was kind enough to come and see me.

This was my second ever DJ set. The first one went very badly. There was a bigger crowd watching Match of the Day in the corner than there was on the dancefloor.

On Friday, Rose asked us to turn up Lazy Line Painter Jane while she pulled shapes. And I got to play stuff like Photo Jenny by B+S, All The Rage by The Royal We, Together Forever In Love by Go Sailor and Everlasting Love from We Love Katamari and people danced. They mother flipping danced until 3am.

People danced to Razzle Dazzle Rose by Camera Obscura. That’s a particularly difficult song to dance to, but that didn’t deter these lovely people. People have been singing the end music from The Raccoons at me all weekend after we played it.

It was the absolute best thing. Here we are looking particularly pleased with life:
